23 März 2023  —  News  —  von Luca Grassi
Organized at the Palazzo dei Congressi by the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), the "Sarcoma and Rare Cancers" is the first edition of an important event for medical oncology.

An annual event not to be missed

The event represented an opportunity for specialists from around the world to share their knowledge and research for the advancement of sarcoma and rare neoplasm treatments. The scientific and educational program covered various aspects, including multidisciplinary management, targeted therapies, precision medicine, methodological challenges, policies, and guidelines. Of particular importance were the sessions specifically designed for young researchers. The event proved crucial for providing the latest original scientific data on these rare subgroup entities. For this reason, ESMO Sarcoma and Rare Cancers will return to Lugano next year, from March 14th to 16th.
