During the symposium, ideas, proposals and solutions were discussed to understand what can be done today to ensure new innovations tomorrow to support sustainable development in society. These innovations are not only technological but also social and cultural, promoting new approaches and ways of living a more conscious everyday life.
Personalities from the political, economic and academic worlds active at regional, national and European levels took part in the symposium.
Among the speakers: Federal Councillor Simonetta Sommaruga, head of the Department of Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications; the President of the Ticino State Council Manuele Bertoli and Dr Antonella Chadha Santuccione, neuroscientist, co-founder and CEO of the non-profit organization “Women's Brain Project”, winner of the World Prize for Sustainability in 2020 and Head of Stakeholder Engagement at Biogen.
