SUPSI celebrates 25 years. The topic is: Sustainability

13 September 2022  —  News  —  von Luca Grassi
To celebrate its 25th anniversary, SUPSI is publishing its first Sustainability Report, full of projects, testimonials and good practices promoted by SUPSI for the benefit of its academic community and its territory.

A quarter century of education and research

The University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) is one of the nine universities of applied sciences recognised by the Swiss Confederation. It offers more than 30 Bachelor's, Master's and Diploma courses, characterised by cutting-edge teaching that combines classical theoretical-scientific education with a professional orientation. A significant focus is placed on research, carried out in key areas through projects acquired competitively at major European and national agencies or on behalf of companies and institutions.

The prolific collaboration between SUPSI and Lugano Conventions is worth emphasising: numerous conferences and seminars are organised by SUPSI professors and their Departments located throughout the Cantonal territory.

On this special occasion of its 25th anniversary, SUPSI has published its first Sustainability Report. The publication of the Report marks the start of a series of initiatives addressing the general public on sustainable development with the aim of raising awareness and stimulating reflection on this important and topical issue.
