Villa Ciani hosts the biannual meeting of TTSCC

12 September 2022  —  News  —  von Luca Grassi
Representatives of the Convention Centres that are members of TTSCC, the association that brings together the country's 10 largest Convention Centres, met in Lugano to take stock of the situation and address the hot topics of the conference industry.

TTSCC: Unity is strength

Switzerland's ten largest and most efficient convention centres have joined forces to form the alliance TTSCC: The Ten Swiss Convention Centres. In addition, from 2021, TTSCC is a member of the Alliance of Event Associations.

Meetings are generally organised online and on a monthly basis, but twice a year we meet in person (taking turns at one of the member convention centres), to exchange views, learn more about the local scenario, and take stock of the situation in the convention industry. The meeting held in Lugano - the second presential in the post-Covid era - was, therefore, an opportunity to show participants the facilities of Lugano Conventions: the Palazzo dei Congressi, the Ex Asilo Ciani, which is currently under renovation, and Villa Ciani. It was precisely in the Hall of Mirrors in Villa Ciani that the work phase took place, which lasted until late afternoon. Thanks also to the good weather, participants took advantage of the day to get to know the city centre and, of course, the local gastronomy.
