MUSIC 4 HOPE: Sport and Music join forces against childhood cancer

The Gotthard's concert at the Palazzo dei Congressi was the highlight of the celebrations organized by Greenhope, the foundation for the charity that for ten years has been involving and sensitizing the sports community in the fight against childhood cancer. An event attended by many families from all over Switzerland, throughout the weekend.

The greeting speech before the concert was given by the Vice-president of the Swiss Confederation Ignazio Cassis, who was particularly engaged with the athletes, families and children present at the event.

By definition, sport is an area in which activities have clear targets: to win a challenge against an opponent or to overcome our own limits. ... What if the energies invested by the sports community were used to achieve an even greater goal? On this basis, the Greenhope project, through a broad involvement of the sports world, seeks to raise funds to support its objectives, first of all, the fight against childhood cancer.
