  • The Swiss SBB railway network is reliable and extensive. It allows you to reach Lugano from the rest of Switzerland and from other international destinations. All Lugano Convention & Exhibition venues are easily accessible from the main station on foot, by Bike Sharing bikes or by public transport: by TPL funicular or by regular bus lines. 

  • Lugano is located on the Gotthard international motorway (Zurich-Chiasso-Milan, A2/E35 Motorway) which connects the North with the South of Europe. To reach the Lugano Convention & Exhibition venues you can park your car in the public undeground car park nearby of the Convention Centre (Autosilo Piazza Castello), or in several central car parks within walking distance.

  • The nearest international airport is located in Italy, 70 km away (Milan Malpensa). The airport can be reached from Lugano by a regular train service, in 1 hour and 40 minutes. The international airport of Zurich is 200 km away, and can be reached with frequent train connections in 2 hours and 40 minutes.

  • Bikes are convenient means of transport in Lugano, thanks to about 13 km of cycle paths connecting the main points of interest and the surrounding region. To find your way along the cycle paths of the city of Lugano, a digital map is available for you to consult with any device. The Bike Sharing PubliBike service includes 238 bikes, both mechanical and electric, and 39 stations where you can hire and leave your bike.
