ESPES, the European Society of Paediatric Endoscopic Surgeons is the 1st internacional congress in presence at PCL

In full compliance with new anti-covid Swiss regulations, the specialists in non-invasive pediatric surgery meet again face-to-face.

Through masterclasses and exhibitors, a comprehensive update.

From 14 to 17 September, more than 200 doctors, specialists and researchers from all over Europe (and beyond) joined on the shores of Lake Ceresio to participate in the eleventh edition of the ESPES (European Society of Pediatric Endoscopic Surgeons) Annual Congress. This was the first international congress organized at the Palazzo dei Congressi in attendance mode.

To do the honors, the Head of Pediatric Surgery and Orthopedics at IPSI (Pediatric Institute of Italian Switzerland), Dr. Mario Mendoza-Sagaon, President of ESPES, as well as Congress Chairman of the Lugano edition.

Four days with a rich agenda: from plenary to poster sessions, masterclasses, up to presentations at booths of new products and technologies in the robotics sector. Clearly, the congress was the long-awaited opportunity to meet colleagues again and reconnect professionally but also friendly, maybe during the coffee breaks.
